I know, right?! Writing that felt surreal. Thanks for all the love through the literal years! ❤️

New design looks so cool. I live for a hummus recc. And I am a new Khruangbin listener and literally just had the thought yesterday, "wait, this is perfect writing music??" so this is a ~sign~ and will hopefully compel me to perform (writing) miracles this weekend!

I used to think I didn't like hummus, but then I realized I just didn't like hummus made with oils other than olive oil. (These days I tend to make my own hummus.) Also, reading January Gill O'Neil's Glitter Road, Susan Rich's Blue Atlas, and the poetry craft anthology Demystifying the Manuscript, edited by Susan Rich and Kelli Russell Agodon. Listening to the Eighty Six Seas' "Scenes from an Art Heist" (inspired by the Isabella Stuart Gardner museum heist) and Peter Gabriel's recent album "i/o" (which sounds just like a Peter Gabriel album and yet somehow doesn't feel like he's just phoning it in?) and the recent orchestral reimagining James did of their catalog (which is gorgeous and works really well, in part because Tim Booth's voice is still exceptional.)

Somehow missed that Peter Gabriel release! Sounds like you are enjoying a delicious cultural diet these days. Happy to hear it.

I'd initially missed it as well! Most of the places where I used to learn about new music are gone, and most of the places that talk about new music now don't really focus much on what might be of interest to an aging Gen Xer.
